What does one do to complete a family?

There are some married couple's who feel incomplete without the birth of a child... then again some choose not to have a baby...

What about those who CAN'T have a child... I know such a couple who truly are the most loving / caring and blessed with a happy family...

They have been a married for a few years now but due to some complications could not conceive a child... They tried everything possible medically but no success ... And then they decided to opt for one of the most noble alternate... Adoption!

After many attempts, this was the only option that made sense! No one said it was going to be easy, but then again like i said they truly are the most loving and caring parents a child could ask for...

Yesterday was the day they introduced their bundle of joy to the whole family.. And a joyous occasion it truly was... Welcoming the baby into their family and sharing the happiness with all .. Simply amazing..

And ofcourse there had to be a Welcome Cake... My first cake with icing ever!!!! I was soo sooo sooo HAPPYYY!!!

He is truly is a Bundle of Joy.. Welcome to the family  :)

I have always enjoyed cooking and loved experimenting with new flavours... Recently i tried my hand at baking as well...

It has always been something that i have been fascinated with... Always love watching shows like the  Cake Boss, The Ultimate Cake off and all sorts of cookery shows as well.. My Ultimate favourite was the Junior Masterchef Season 2..

Watching those kids bake the gorgeous cakes / Ganaches / Gateau and all sorts of desserts made me think there is "NO WAY" i can ever do that but just something about the thought of getting that perfect cake out of the oven made me feel like Oh! This i must try once...

The first time i ever made cupcakes, they were edible but i didnt really know what i was doing... Up until recently till i got a new oven... And the first thing i tried baking was buns... They turned out just perfect.. It truely was like the most amazing feeling in the world... 

Ever since, i have been trying to bake something new almost every day... So far i have managed to bake a Chocolate / Vanilla / Chocolate Chip Vaniila / Chocolate & Coffee cream cakes, a beautiful set of cupcakes & a perfect loaf of bread....... {Oh it has been about 7 days now } And i cant waitttt to explore!! 

Watching my Mom. sister and friends take a bite and go Yummm ..... literally put me in a Happy place... Truely fulfilling... 

I love everything about baking, from gathering the ingredients to setting up the oven trays .. Oh & the aroma just makes me wonder is this what heaven smells like??

I am just a noob and there is a lot to learn and a million different things to try and i just cant wait!! ... This is just a beginning and i am all set :))

I really wanna say thanks to my family & all my friends for being so supportive and encouraging... Working on new ideas & recipes for now... Until then.. See you!
